Tras Las Barras

Behind Bars
Damn the sky, I don’t feel the loneliness
Winter never ends, you can’t fly there

Trapped by your routine
Condemned by your judgment
Everything somehow chained
In being free, we’ll dream
In your prison, which is the cement
You can turn it into a mirror
To look at the sky
Free your mind, it’ll fly without any effort
And not even the bars will be obstacles
If you just believe, you’ll unleash your dreams
Your spirit will be like the wind...
You know life teaches you, and man condemns you
Learn from the hard steps you take, the test repeats
Time moves slow when you’re locked up
You lose life, and luck has run out
But in your mind, it’ll always be lingering
That your family is waiting by your side
Damn the sky, I don’t feel the loneliness
Winter never ends, you can’t fly there

Behind the bars of this poetry
I’m just trying to help you forget one of those many bad days
Where you don’t get up, they lift you up... and survive
Those who endure the most in the law of the strongest
Look for allies, avoid snakes to not find death
Respect the rank, you’re not outside, don’t get it wrong
There’s always someone in charge
Want to be better? Pay the rent
Inside, even intimacy is for sale
Violent life, chanbenrlayn my crew
And the visit where I don’t propose, I just dispose
Gotta shake off the stress of the week
Many bear it, about to smoke weed
My greetings behind bars, with my head held high
Let pride remain intact
It’s played 5-on-5 at the yard table
Everyone’s counting because the train is arriving
Watch out for the guard, the search is violent
If they hit 180, the yard heats up, and inside
The game is different, and if you don’t get low, you simply don’t belong
Your own moves bring snakes, live in the hallway
All your sentence like a fierce dog locked up
Here was the ch-ester in those 90s
These are lives that skate, the rake is waiting
Sunday, my brother
Damn the sky, I don’t feel the loneliness
Winter never ends, you can’t fly there
