It’s too cold in the water
This late at night
She’s on the water’s surface
Like a feather of illusion
Adrift
But clinging to the branches
Her hair sways on the waves
Her skin pale and shimmering
It glows with the moonlight
Until silk covers the coffin
If it’s true as it seems
The base color of the world is gray
A couple of purple paint stains
Could make it the sky, if it weren’t for that stain.
