The whip of life lashes
a sorrowful man wet with sweat
I walk a path from which there is no return
The world, damnation gives no peace
death knells roar in my ears
calling out to me
The earth is hard as steel
the flesh of the sky weighs down my body
I languish in this agony, in eternal weeping
This body freezes upright
death closes my eyes, passes before me
mocking, laughing, taunting me
