El Último Cartucho
La Arrolladora Banda El Limon
The Last Bullet
In a secluded little ranch
Up high in the mountains
Lives a very isolated man
As if he were a beast
He always came down to the town
Without the law knowing
Riding a sorrel horse
He was almost always seen
Perhaps looking for affection
That he so badly needed
She was the most beautiful flower
In my Santa María estate
His most cherished dream
Finally came true for him
And with the horse's hooves
He took that young woman away
He wanted to start a family
But it was not granted to him
He had unfinished business
With soldiers and rural police
The government was after him
Since his parents were alive
He, on the other hand, wanted
To forget about his troubles
That October night
The soldiers surrounded him
Perhaps he thought of surrendering
And they killed his beloved
He wreaks havoc with his rifle
On anyone he sees
This will cost them dearly
And they will never learn
I won't give them that satisfaction
They will never be able to shoot me
With the last bullet
I will only kill myself
