Once upon a time there were some mice
Who had elected at their head
A bunch of all gray cats
Who seemed rather honest

The first law of the all gray cats
Was to widen the mouse traps
To be able to catch the mice
Without getting their hind paws dirty

And the mice didn't understand
Why life had become a hell

The all scrawny mice
Wanted to chase away the all gray cats
So they massively voted
For a bunch of all white cats

The first law of the all white cats
Who had promised change
Was to widen the mouse traps
To relieve their front paws

The mice elected for a change
Half gray, half white cats
They called it 'cohabitation'
When a mouse stepped out of line

'Why elect cats?' she said
'We should elect mice!'
The others told her: 'scoundrel!
Dirty communist! get out of here!'
