Héroes
La Cuarta Tribu
Heroes
So many are fighting for a change
Breaking the silence, showing the truth
Heroes who don’t stay quiet die on the line
And they’re always ready to fight the battles
Respect to those who fight hard for a freer and safer Mexico
To those who build a future with strong values
To the cops who don’t abuse their power
And the weapons they have, they use to defend
(Honor)
To the teachers who still teach with passion
Who try to improve education every single day
To every soldier who risks their life daily
And for the young one who doesn’t dream of being a hitman
Blessed is the congressman who doesn’t accept corruption
And the single mom who doesn’t give her child up for adoption
Here’s to the one who helps the addict on the streets
The one who loves without judgment, following Christ’s example
So many are fighting for a change
Breaking the silence, showing the truth
Heroes who don’t stay quiet die on the line
And they’re always ready to fight the battle
And it’s brave to speak the truth and spread it through society
A hero is the one who shows their discontent and opens eyes to reality
A humble heart that leaves behind selfishness and helps others
Heroes are you and me
The ones who don’t wear capes, the ones who don’t wear masks, and the firefighters who make
Sure the fire doesn’t spread even when it embraces them
To the doctor and the nurse who give their time and hours saving lives without
Caring if their efforts are valued
They have powers and superhuman strength, and still fight to build a better
Tomorrow, they don’t have super speed nor dodge bullets
To reach great heights, they don’t need wings
A hero is the one who stays quiet and rises, recognizes their flaws and knows they need God
Forgets about themselves like Jesus did, putting others first
Dying on the cross
So many are fighting for a change
Breaking the silence, showing the truth
Heroes who don’t stay quiet die on the line
And they’re always ready to fight the battle
The fourth tribe, my respect to those who fight for a better society
They are heroes.
