Las Musas
La Fuga
The Muses
Who are the muses deceiving me
That I can't find songs?
And they have left me without a smile,
With snow in my pants.
I searched in the rooms
Where joy used to live
And a blank page told me
That they wouldn't come back.
Who will they sleep with?
I don't know.
They can't be bought,
They don't charge rent.
I looked for them at the bar,
I looked for them at the bottom of the drawer,
I looked for them in the sea
Of the doubts in my heart.
It's becoming day and they don't show up.
I cling to my madness, my voice breaks.
If I call them, they leave,
Change rooms
And I'm left hanging,
Friend bad mood.
And if you see them around,
Give them my address:
Loneliness street, no sea view,
Where the sun never shines.
