La Estrella y La Luna
La Oreja de Van Gogh
The Star and The Moon
A wise man today tells a story
That a shooting star
In the blue sky overshadowed the lunar star
Such was the glow it emitted as it flew
That the Moon couldn't stop crying
Couldn't stop crying
Out of envy, the Moon cried as she watched
How the star was more loved
It was her eyes capable of loving
That's why the Moon wanted to extinguish her
A lunar spell caused a wave in the sea
With a cruel intention: To erase the starry trace
But the sea allowed the wave to crash
Into the wind and thus not harm its heart
Not harm its heart
Out of envy, the Moon cried as she watched
How the star was more loved
It was her eyes capable of loving
That's why the Moon wanted to extinguish her
