La Sonrisa de Julia
Birds
When I grow up
And I dress in gray
I want to be like you
When it rains again
On my sandy field
We'll throw black poppy seeds
Hoping the sky will help us
And with a gesture of light, allow us
To keep our youth alive
We'll see fall over the sea
Ashen birds
We'll hear singing again
The same sirens
On our shores
When the wind changed
And hit us head-on
Our footprints ran deep
And the garden's whisper
That was waiting intoxicated our ears
With scents of hope
We'll see fall over the sea
Ashen birds
We'll hear singing again
The same sirens
On our shores
