Flamme In Wind
Lacrimosa
Flame In Wind
A weak candlelight
Outside the door
In the struggle for shine and warmth
My little light of life, a flame in the wind
My laughing face appears in the mirror
A breath passes
Then it sinks into the darkness
Silent, mute
Figures in winter
I lick my soul sore
A call illuminates the night
Expectation enveloped in hope
But with the silence comes loneliness
Disillusionment leading to resignation
Static monotony
A second call does not come
This candle in the snow
Too weak to hold itself in the light
My figure becomes part of the night
Breath veils the reflection
In the mist appears the silhouette
Like back then - it returns
I expose my body
Foreign eyes burn wounds into my skin
I feel my longing grow
In the storm, my hope multiplies
But that is all that happens
The snow dances around the flame
Its shine is dim, it no longer holds warmth within
My body defeated by the ice
My light fades away
The dream will not end
The longing will never die
There is still waiting
The body lies motionless in the snow
Awaiting the sun
Hands are open
The smile on the face will never be denied
