yyyyy, like today was a day

for both of us, I wanted to bring you
a little gift, the cutest

even a penny for the bus
I decided that finally I would break
my piggy bank and I discovered
that it was quite empty
I started washing cars
ran a thousand errands, sold toasties,
chickens, and grilled meats until I completed
but you won't believe it, a rose
I brought wilted and the
stuffed bear lost an eye.

My little cousin copied the letter I wrote you
and I ate the box of chocolates
I wanted to bring you a serenade
and your mom planted a kiss on me
and even though I come with empty hands
I want to tell you that I love you very much
