Un Beau Grand Slow
Eric Lapointe
A Beautiful Big Slow
Winter is ending
Hard to believe but we made it through
The earth is thawing, the girls are beautiful
In the hotel, it's warm
There are two or three walking around
With a little gold chain in their hands
And others, a little less lucky
With a knife
Whoa! Am I going or not?
He downed his double Tequila in one go
He crossed all the dancers and went to ask
"Will you dance, a beautiful big slow,
Will you dance a beautiful big slow close?"
As there's nothing more boring
Than a sight of horror like a ghost town
A little later they went
On the way to the dump
It was one of those sweet nights
Where everything goes all the way
He thanked the moon
For driving a Station
Whoa! It stuck to him
In those cases, a spark is enough
Like a fire catching in the hay
And burning the barn
They lowered the seat, and he asked
He asked, "What's your name?"
Whoa! Am I going or not?
He downed his double Tequila in one go
He crossed all the dancers and went to ask
"Will you dance a beautiful big slow,
Will you dance a beautiful big slow close?"
