Blacklist
Ya mark me down for another death,
They said on the radio,
And it wasn't a competition,
It's that they had been assigned,
They had a blacklist,
And like thirteen marked.
They would load the coolers,
And tie up the little bags,
They brought more than enough gear,
To carry out that clean-up,
There were four from the government,
To chop them up in a row.
The local newspapers,
The next day would spread,
Because they hit hard,
Those people from the mafia,
And they would leave messages,
To those the cartel killed,
While crossing out the sheet,
Where they marked them.
Gunshots were heard,
They claimed abductions,
They found bodies wrapped up,
Executions continued,
And on the radio could be heard,
All the instructions.
The government, in cahoots,
Was informed of the clean-up,
Triggermen, triggermen,
With rifles ready,
Black-hooded,
Carrying grenades and bazookas.
That's the life of the cartel,
Of those who control the turf,
My people here give their lives,
That's how the water flows,
We don't study violence,
We have it ingrained,
We'll kill the traitor,
This list never ends,
The government doesn't sleep,
Because of this famous blacklist.
