Em Fervente Oração

In fervent prayer, comes your heart
To pour out in the presence of God
But you can't enjoy what you're asking for
Without abandoning everything on the altar

When everything is before the Lord
And He controls your whole being
Only then will you see that the Lord has power
When you leave everything on the altar

The Lord will do wonders of love for you
Answering the prayer He accepts
His immense power will come to help you
When you leave everything on the altar

If you pray then, without your heart
Experiencing the peace that the Lord can give
It's because God didn't feel that your soul opened
Leaving everything, everything on the altar.
