On the day when the divided story was
The earth shook like never before seen
The sun protesting stopped its strong shine
The sky darkened its indigo blue!
The whole universe mourned
Nailed to a cross was the king of glory
Death silenced him for two days trying to stop his path!

He descended into the abyss, and took the key of death!
He shattered the yoke, the temple veil was torn!
The prophecy was fulfilled, to the slaughterhouse he was taken
The prince of peace died for my sins!
But on the third day the tomb shook
Mary was surprised to see the angel of God there
And the angel announces
“He is no longer among the dead! Jesus has risen!”

He is risen! He triumphed over death!
He is risen! The Lord reigns forever!
Seated on the throne and crowned in glory
With a scepter of justice he rules the course of history!
Victor! His kingdom will endure!
Victor! His church worships him with fear!
Victor! Living Word, strength and victory!
Reason for existence! The owner of the miracle!
He is alive! He is alive! He is alive!

He lives forever! He lives forever!
He lives forever! Jesus lives forever!

Jesus is alive!
