Gioco Di Bimba
Le Orme
Child's Play
As if by magic she gets up at night
She walks silently with her eyes still closed
As if following a magical song
And on the swing she returns to dreaming
The long robe, the milky face
The moonbeams on the thick hair
The wax statue stretches among the flowers
Jealous elves are spying on her
She swings, the wind pushes her
Captures the stars for her desires
A furtive shadow detaches from the wall
In the child's play a woman gets lost
A scream in the morning in the middle of the street
A rag man calls for his tailor
With a lost voice he repeats forever
I didn't want to wake her up like this
I didn't want to wake her up like this!
