When they took my Jesus to the wood
And arranged his whole body there, before the crowd
The executioner separated the nails in the dust
And hit until piercing the wood
And the blood came to the ground
The cross before the blood was cursed
But then it became blessed because the blood cleansed it
The cross before the blood was condemnation
But then salvation for the sinful man
When my beloved Jesus was wounded
With a spear they pierced his side, blood came out
That blood was the confirmation
That the Lord brought us salvation, there on that cross
If you believe that this blood cleanses
Come now, do not resist because Jesus is here
And he will cleanse your sin, you will be healed
