Derrama Tua Glória
Léa Mendonça
Pour Out Your Glory
"The glory of the Lord settled on Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days. On the seventh, the Lord called him from the middle of the cloud, and he entered, staying there for forty days." You know those days when you just feel off and want to be in God's embrace? I was feeling that way when I heard my brother sing this song. I needed a fresh breath! I needed to enter God's cloud to stop hearing the hurtful words, to not confront my enemies anymore, to not feel the pain of their stones, or the biting cold of friends' ingratitude.
I needed to enter the cloud to be alone with God! (Ex 24:16-18)
In Your presence, in Your presence
In Your presence, oh God,
I want to always be
Without Your presence, I can't live
Without Your word, I can't
Find my way
Breathe Your breath, Lord
Like a cloud spreading across the sky
Like rain that doesn’t ask
For permission to fall
Spread Your cloud, overflow
Your rain
Pour out Your glory on me, Lord
And restore my being
Chorus
Pour out Your glory and restore me
Pour out Your glory and take control
Pour out Your glory and renew me
Pour out Your glory
And breathe Your breath of life in me
Breathe Your life in me
Your breath of life, and I will be healed
Breathe Your life in me
Your breath of life, and I will be renewed
Because I will spend myself for You, my Lord"
