O Chamado

The Call
Every time I look at myself
And realize how small I am
The call is greater than my ability
Makes me want to say: Today I won't
To say 'Here I am' is a choice
It's a path that can't be turned back
It's possible, but I'm already aware
That moving forward is much easier than going back
Compliments don't satisfy my soul
Applause doesn't compensate for what I've already sacrificed
And money can never buy
My life that I've already surrendered on the altar
I see that the road is very long
And I've already realized that it won't be easy
My God, if You're not with me
I don't want to take a step forward
When I think about giving up
Hug me and say: I'm here
Your voice is what guides me
What comforts me is being able to feel You
When my feet get tired of walking
Carry me in Your arms, I can't stop
Of all I know, the greatest certainty
Is that I am nothing without Your presence
