Today I felt longing
For a time that won't come back
Today I felt the desire
To be closer to my parents
To be a child again
With fights with my brother
School and video games were our concern

Mom shouted from the kitchen
Son, the table is ready
Our family gathered
Dinner was simple
I remember, we used to complain
And today all I wanted was to go back

Why do we grow up?
And things change places?
Why only when we lose?
Do we learn to appreciate?
I can't go back in time
It's no use trying
What I have left today
Is to enjoy today

Until the other gets tired

Call the family more often
