He Never Comes Late
I was looking for someone
To confide in and who could give me
A word of comfort
I thought Jesus took too long to respond
And as everything in my life
I wanted quickly
To get an answer from Christ
But one day He spoke with an answer
So touching in me, in such a way
That I learned this way, He never
He never comes late
When we least expect it in despair we only think
I can't bear it anymore
Jesus who is alive and powerful
Comes to help us
Today I can say He never comes late
If the struggle is so great
Maybe this is part of our journey here
Because we know, indeed, our kingdom
Is heaven, we are like pilgrims
Foreigners and ministers of God
And now I am believing
So I can even sing and say without doubting
Jesus never, he never comes late
I don't need to look for someone to comfort me anymore
My friend is Jesus
I will tell Him my problems
And wait, and He never comes late
