Poema de Adeus
Leonel Gomez
Goodbye Poem
It has the brightness of your eyes
This poem, my love
With the ink of the bleeder
I wrote
Every gesture, every scene of us two
I scribbled in these sentences, just for you
It was the brightness of your eyes
In poems, my love
That brought my dreams
Here
Tag games, that covered our clothes
Were confetti of joys I lived
The gate cries, because the wind wanted it that way
Invades the house, the gentle smell of rosemary
Wants to make points in this sentence I wrote
The salt of the eyes that insists on falling
Take the brightness of your eyes
In this poem, my love
In every corner of the road
Wherever it may be
From the herd of a thousand hairs, the trapper
And in the hair braid, a flower
I say to the brightness of your eyes
Silently, my love
Release into the field
Your dream horseman
And if longing, by chance
Dresses you in Dalva, to brighten my corridor
The gate cries, because the wind wanted it that way
Invades the house, the gentle smell of rosemary
Wants to make points in this sentence I wrote
The salt of the eyes that insists on falling
