Today the sea makes waves like a child
In the calm swing we rest
At these times the memory sleeps far away
Of being happy
When the afternoon takes us in its arms
A wind blows that dissolves the fatigue
It's the opposite of the effort I make
To be happy
What will remain in the photograph
Are the invisible ties that existed
The colors, figures, motifs
The sun passing over friends
Stories, drinks, smiles
And affection in front of the sea
As the shadows grow longer
Filling the house with silence and laziness
At these times is when God leaves clues
For me to be happy
And when the day becomes just a picture
Coloring my room with longing
Only then will I be sure indeed
That I was happy
