Samhain
Lèpoka
Samhain
When October goes to sleep
And the leaves freely fly
The harvest we have already gathered
And the new year we receive
Welcome to this night
Where there is no corner of the forest
In which until the Sun rises
There is no drinking, fucking, or dancing
And it's only for this night
That the deceased can return
Trick or treat, that's the deal
Give me sweets that I shall feed them!
A bonfire will help
Illuminate this old ritual
And witches, trolls, and goblins
Will sing this spell with me
Descend, dark forces
Open the gates of the beyond
May this rite allow us
To see again those who are no longer here
And if they come back thirsty from the journey
Let us give them something to drink
And thus return in this Samhain celebration
To meet again
If you have cried sorrows
When a loved one departed
Dry all that pain, because
That sorrow has already gotten drunk
And the magic has worked
And I already see them coming
The deceased from the other life
Return and tonight they will cause a stir
Descend, dark forces
