La Balanza Del Bien Y Del Mal
Alejandro Lerner
The Balance of Good and Evil
Mornings started,
nights without end,
how big is the bed
that sees me arrive
drunk with sleep
asleep with alcohol,
a small goblin
pushes me to the mattress.
The door closed
of my room,
on one side hell
on the other I am,
and right in the middle
today's newspaper
and right in the middle
today's newspaper.
[chorus:]
Who handles the balance of good and evil?
who allows me to fall asleep or maybe die?
who takes away, who gives me...
who stays, who goes?
My body embedded
already yields to the mattress,
a wrinkled jacket
and the show's pay.
The empty mind,
the room as well
and the fantasy
with some woman.
[chorus]
