The Prodigal Son (높은 산들을 넘어)
LEVISTANCE
The Prodigal Son
Unquenchable hunger, even the mice have no more fruit
Only then do I realize where my path lies
Running to my father's house
Now there's nothing else I can do
Rather than squandering what I have
I'd rather live as a servant in my father's house
Over the high mountains, crossing the river
To my father's house
To the shade of my refuge and the rock I stand on, my father's house
I run
Returning to my father, I can't live without him
No longer called a son, but as one of his servants
Far away, I meet my father's eyes
He runs to me with all his might and embraces me
Dressing me in beautiful things
Once again calling me his son
This a love lost, a love found, a celebration
Hard to face Him but
In my mind, I know there's nowhere else, it's my father's house
Returning is the only way to survive, my only life
Ain't no one better
Even if I stumble hundreds of times, He lifts me up every time, never
He don't let me go, He keeps chasing
Coming after me, it don't make sense
I, I'm running, He's running harder
Not boiling me in my deep dirtiness
Covering my feet, fingers, my whole body in love
In my father's grace, everything inside me is washed
Calling me again not as a servant but as a son
I know I don’t deserve it, the reason for hallelujah
I'm never gonna go back
I won't return
I want to stay, in my father's house
I run, I run
