Since I was little I felt out of place
The world I created inside me is still my home.
I didn't understand anything
Sadness and my lows

I sought ruin for being too daring
At sixteen I thought about death more times than planned
Judgments and bad reputation leave you in a bad place
Music the only one that never failed me.

Now I understand that at home I had gold
That depression doesn't let you see
That work steals time, but doesn't steal love
My parents have earned heaven

To fly you have to fall
To die you have to be born
To be happy you have to suffer
To be faithful you have to live

Against all odds I have something to say I have a purpose
