Mi Memória
Lisandro Aristimuño
My Memory
My frayed memory
That doesn't let me remember anything,
Just the edge of the mountains merging into nothingness.
Oranges are scattered in the green of the Sierra
And the country women gather among the field of my veins.
To return to your body
I tried to remember
Every little piece of you
That escapes from my sky.
I no longer tend to retain anything in the mind of my body
But I only know one thing
That I fall asleep in your kisses.
I fall in love with the clouds
That make noise and get annoyed,
One by one they collide to soak the earth.
To return to your body
I tried to remember
Every little piece of you
That escapes from my sky.
