Cristo Está Vivo

Today is Friday in Jerusalem, on the way to Calvary I see someone, carrying a heavy cross, condemned to die in my place.

When the crowd shouted 'Release Barabbas!' they were condemning the Prince of Peace to death, when they said 'Crucify Jesus' they were choosing darkness, rejecting the light, but he came to fulfill what God planned and there on the cross in my place he surrendered, like a lamb he had to pass through death, like a lion he rose again, forever alive...
