I amb el somiure, la revolta
Lluís Llach
With the Smile, the Revolt
I like the laughter in your eyes,
where the reflection of a light
seems like a lighthouse at the marina.
And luckily for being half crazy
I imagine myself a sailor
seeking shelter in your smile.
And so I sail through your body
going paths on your chest
with the saliva of my lips.
To tell you:
With the smile, the revolt.
That's how I wait for you and imagine you
and on the horizon of the gaze
the utopian gesture that calls for you.
And I'll become a bird if you are the wind
or I'll be the bow of the ship
if you are the dance of the waves.
Because luckily for being half crazy
in sadness and loneliness
I'm tracing your shape.
And today I sail through your body
going paths on your chest
with the saliva of my lips.
To tell you:
With the smile, the revolt.
That's how I wait for you and imagine you
and on the horizon of the gaze
the utopian gesture that calls for you.
That I want to find with you the path of the stars
to throw dreams against time.
To seek the enduring courage in the attempt.
That's how I wait for you and that's how you have me.
And in beauty a lighthouse for a more beautiful world,
and in desire the brave risk.
Love a step to discover myself much more,
that's how I wait for you and that's how you have me.
