La casa que vull

The house I want,
let the sea see it
and some fruit trees
that pamper me.

Let there be a path
shining with dew,
not far from the pines
so the rain calms it.

In case I need rest
let the moon come there;
and when the sun rises
let it greet me good morning.

During the summer time
nest the swallow
in the rich white lime
of the porch with bees.

Listening to the song
of the farmer digging;
with the saltiness
of the sea breeze.

Let the city be watched
from the window,
and hear the cries
of war or celebration:
to be ready
if a feat arrives.
