So often, when night falls,
it carries me away like a fairy:
the beauty of your eyes
- deep black against white sea -
always uncertain in their gaze.
And so, jealous, I unravel
songs that bring me closer to her. But...

The poetry of your eyes
I know I can't write it down,
every verse I find
on the paper would die
from the pain of not being true enough.

But I know I can't give up
on finding that friendly language
that brings me closer to the poetry of your eyes,
even if I can't write it,
but this is how I'll fight with myself,
always waiting for a dawn,
eager to catch your gaze.
