We lacked time to say I love you
Or rather, we forgot to be honest
And never a flower, nor a love kiss,
Nor a day with a different color.
Today there is plenty of time only to regret
So much anxiety for not being able to say
That rain without peace, what unnecessary things,
How hard to know that you're not here.
We were slowly falling into the cruel routine
To the raw rhythm of this paper world,
How many vain things, how much hurry,
What a desert and thirst our skin was,
They flew far away, tired of waiting so long
The illusions we couldn't achieve,
This is the truth, our destiny,
Memories, sadness, and solitude.
