Game Lover
Los Caligaris
Game Lover
I know you're not going to come,
But still I wait for you.
And how my heart hurts,
I numb it by playing.
You no longer believe in this relationship,
Distrust won.
You won't face your fear
By resorting to a pause.
Why don't you realize?
My life is not a game.
I don't want to die waiting,
Jumping through hoops of fire.
And so I spend the weekends,
Among tanks and penguins
That invite me to war.
And so I entertain the melancholy
Of missing you with a bonus
Or with an extra life.
I'm already an expert in Mario Bros,
I rescue my princess,
I want to have everything from you
And I start with your absence.
Every feeling, every thing,
Has its place.
I learned that from Tetris
And your absence teaches me
To live without breathing.
And so I spend the weekends,
Among tanks and penguins
That invite me to war.
And so I entertain the melancholy
Of missing you with a bonus
Or with an extra life.
