The roosters are already singing
Announcing the day
And in the mountains, there is a reign
Of beautiful commotion

Greeting the splendid sun
The thrushes sing
And its rays are kissing
The green fields

The ochogos and the doves
Cross in flocks
And the joyful sound of the axe
Is heard at dawn

Splendid sun, god of the Quechuas
The mountains sing sadly to you
And they cry if you leave
Beyond the horizon

At siesta, the ututus cross
Shishis añaperos
And reflect their charms
Lagoons and marshes

The chirping coyuyo brightens up
The carob trees
And the carai´puca crawls
In the bushes

The urpilas search for the nest
The complaints are already heard
Of crespines and vidalas
Because they are already leaving
