Forever

I came from nothing and achieved this position
Thanks to God and my parents
It hasn't been easy but it's all good
There was everything but I'm getting by

I take nothing and won't take anything
Material things will never matter to me
What really matters is life
To always wake up to a new day

Several years have passed and I haven't given up
I have only shown it
There were many who didn't believe
They buried me but I am a seed

And here we are still giving them a fight
I won't give up until I die
Always with the man above
And here by my side those who care for me

Always strong for my people
Always moving forward
That's the intention
Even if I keep in my heart
Everything I feel
I tell it to God

What is gone will never return
Not just anyone eats at my table
There are bad times and there are good times
But the bad ones are the ones that teach

To value and to be a good friend
To know who is with you
Because in the good times everyone gathers around
But in the bad times everyone forgets you

Several years have passed and I haven't given up
I have only proven it
There were many who didn't believe
They buried me but I am a seed

And here we are still giving them a fight
I won't give up until I die
Always with the man above
And here by my side those who care for me

Always strong for my people
Always moving forward
That's the intention
Even if I keep in my heart
Everything I feel
I tell it to God
