Escondido del Amanecer
Los Hermanos Toledo
Hidden from the Dawn
The sun on the horizon begins to peek out
The whole life of the mountain seems to wake up
With a concert of bird songs, the dawn is announced
To the humblest plants, it's time to bloom
In the greenness of the grassland, fine dew drops shine
In the stillness, the clatter of the water carriers' hours can be heard
A sky full of blue with the rays of the rising sun flooding in light
Little by little, the bleating of the corral grows
The oven next to the ranch keeps yawning
The smoke from the fire is consumed by the air
The woodcutter savors his early mate
The shrub happily flees from the rhythmic whistle of a partridge
The cactus sadly wakes up with the cry of the chuña in the quebracho forest
Creation sings to God about the santiagueño mountain, dawned
