I am the heart of the chilalo
"Tapashu" on the hard earth
Dig and you will find me
"Botija", "quichqui" in sweetness

For free I walk to the yanga
From afar I am telling you
Wait for me on the road

Deceptions will burn me
And my life will be scorched
But I burst in verses
Like a corn flower pishinga

Chacarera ñaupa-ñaupa
Old like the pains
But I feel it new
New like my loves

To extract its honey
They hit the tree so much
Sorrows hit me
Is that why I sing?

Where do you hide your honey
Honey that I seek and do not find
I want to own the axe
Die fighting in your stems
