El Árbol Del Mayo
Los Plebes Del Rancho de Ariel Camacho
The Tree of May
Sometimes, I find myself thinking
Mostly when I'm buzzed
If it was worth it all
Living the life I lead
I live among luxury and wealth
But, the ones I love aren't here
My grandson's already gone
His dad's still locked up
My brother, my great buddy
He's also doing time
The rest of my kids
I hardly ever see them
I turned sixty-something
But, I still feel strong
Sometimes I feel like breaking
When I think of Vicente
But, if the kid doesn't cry
How's the boss gonna cry?
Bernardo, Alonso, and Ramón
Thanks for sticking with me
There’s been good times and bad
And we’re still united
Buddy, come on, don’t sit down
You know I’ll never forget you
Money gives you power
But it can't buy a life
If it could, I would've bought
The one who left one day
To give my son a gift
It would be his eternal joy
The tree still stands tall
Its branches give it life
I don’t know if the old man will break
He’s still needed around here
Don’t worry, buddies
This man isn’t retiring.
