Mi Vicente Guerrero
Los Primos De Durango
My Vicente Guerrero
I'm proud to be from Guerrero
from that beautiful region of Durango
where I spent my childhood years
and grew up in its rural areas.
Very close by we have San Pedro
San Isidro, San Pancho, and Graceros
when I move away from its lands
with pride and love, I remember it.
San Antonio de Padua, gentlemen
t he patron saint of my beautiful Guerrero
every thirteenth of June, my friend
I go to please him with a tambora.
My Guerrero, my Vicente Guerrero
it comes from my veins to sing to you
if I die, bury my remains
in your soil, for I will not forget.
My Guerrero, my Vicente Guerrero
compared to nothing, I wouldn't change you
I have wandered through many places
and I miss you wherever I go.
My Pompeya and the beloved falcon
in the distance, I see their cornfields
when I come back from the north
to visit my family.
My Guerrero, my Vicente Guerrero
it comes from my veins to sing to you
if I die, bury my remains
in your soil, for I will not forget.
My Guerrero, my Vicente Guerrero
compared to nothing, I wouldn't change you
I have wandered through many places
and I miss you wherever I go.
