El Caballo Del Diablo
Los Rafagos
The Devil's Horse
And for the whole horse race
And we are the Rafagos
And we keep shooting, buddy
Whistle
The parties were in full swing
(Fireworks and tambora)
And there were races at that ranch
Nearby lived some Indians
And a very poor boy as well
On a donkey he crossed some hills
To watch the Cuacos races
A man met him on the road
And asked him why the rush
The boy wasn't wearing sandals
And his shirt was very torn
I'm going to see what I like the most
And even though my mommy didn't let me
The man felt great sadness
And said I'm going to help you
Take this bag with money
And you'll meet the big ones
Take this horse, it's very good
And don't say where you bought it
Just as the man told him
He approached the big ones to challenge them
I have a bag of money here
I want to bet the whole fist
My horse is dark with a white face
And they call him the devil
Five times he won that afternoon
And the Cuaco looked very fresh
How many bags he won with money
That boy who was so poor
He immediately returned to his ranch
Because his mother scolded him
He arrived home very late
Waking his mother he said
Here's money, mommy
I don't want you to go hungry anymore
A man traded my donkey for me
A dark horse, purebred
You have delusions in your mind
No, mom, he's tied up outside
They immediately went out to see him
And they only found the little donkey
A thousand people drew conclusions
That the devil had lent it to him
