A Caín
Los Suaves
To Cain
The dawn breaks, paradise is lost.
Blood runs on Abel's altar,
God smiles, pleased to see,
pain and death on Abel's pyre.
Cain, his brother, is gonna sacrifice
his wheat harvest to Mister Jehovah.
The fire won't rise, it won't accept
that bloodthirsty God’s peace offering.

No more altars, I can't take it anymore.
Do we have to give thanks for dying and crying?
Cain, the rebel, the first fighter
against injustice, against the dictator.
There's a civil war. This is Eden.
On the side of the master, shepherd Abel.
A fight between brothers, defending
the cruel, the tyrant. Foolish Abel dies.
