We've been playing for a century
and still haven't seen a dime,
downloading like crazy
cuts and the material,
fighting in rehearsals,
paying bills with difficulty.

Living with rock,
buddies, is going to kill me.

When we go out to play
we barely cover expenses
'you'll pay more', they tell us
if you play jazz-rock and cha-cha-cha
but we can't, man,
that music disgusts us.

I prefer living with rock,
even though this life is going to kill me.

They say we're noisy,
ears suffer a lot
that when we're playing
we make a lot of noise
let them criticize all they want
we continue with our business.
