El camaro
Los Tigres del Norte
The Camaro
Just by stepping on the gas
the fixed engine roared,
impeccable its paint,
fully equipped with everything
It just lacked talking,
Chorus:
that beautiful Camaro.
I bought it for Junior,
so he could ride well
when he drove in it,
he was the envy of the neighborhood
I never thought that to my son,
Chorus:
death had bought him
he was only fifteen years old,
it showed on his face,
when I saw him in his Camaro
I looked at his wings
my chick didn't have feathers
Chorus:
and I wanted him to fly.
one Sunday morning
everything seemed joyful
suddenly I was informed,
of what I would never think of,
in a traffic accident,
Chorus:
Junior was lifeless.
Maybe I was to blame,
for giving him everything in life,
I didn't want him to lack,
what I didn't have at his age,
if God sent us without wings,
Chorus:
why would I put them on him.
Things have their time,
and I took him early,
because I loved my children so much,
some parents fail,
instead of giving them everything,
Chorus:
why don't we prepare them.
He was only fifteen years old,
it showed on his face,
when I saw him in his Camaro,
I looked at his wings,
my chick didn't have feathers,
Chorus:
and I wanted him to fly.
