El macho y el hombre
Los Tigres del Norte
The male and the man
I was going to adore the greatness of a man
to all the children he left scattered
and I have seen innocents cry their misfortune
wandering the world sad and forgotten.
I have seen women cry for their abandonment
lost in vice for a bad love
dying slowly as the poet said
remembering a male and dragging a child.
The male and the man are opposite poles
one is shame and the other is duty
male is the one who leaves children everywhere
man is the one who raises them, educates them, guides them and feeds them.
I have seen males kill from behind
and cover a good woman in mud
boast of their manhood when they are drunk
but in front of a man they don't know what to do.
The male and the man are opposite poles
one is shame and the other is duty
male is the one who leaves children everywhere
man is the one who raises them, educates them, guides them and feeds them.
