El Arracadas
Los Tigres del Norte
The Earring Man
Like the shadow of a ghost in the night
Crossing mountains, ravines, and towns
A sad man rides on his horse
His dog follows, sniffing through the fields
Everyone says, here comes the earring man
With sideburns, a cowboy jacket
A black hat and leather pants
With a calm gaze, looking for a rustler
I’m going to fulfill a sacred vow
When he left his shack, he told his mother
I’m going to find that traitor who up on the hill
Cowardly and merciless killed my father
Some whispers of prayer were heard
When a mother pleads to the heavens for her son
Then a horse gallops away, neighing
And there by the ravine, his steps disappeared
And that traitor the earring man was hunting
They found him dead, hanging in a pasture
While another man, his dog, and his horse
Have never been seen again, lost their way
Out in the dark of a shack, a sob is heard
It’s from a mother who feels abandoned
She cries for a man who listens from the sky
And for a missing son, of whom nothing is known
And for a missing son, of whom nothing is known
