Some chase the hare

The so-called foreign debt
Is just an excuse for them
They promise they’ll pay it back
To raise our taxes
The government won’t help you
Especially if you’re down
But if your luck changes
And they see you’re thriving
They’ll come to take your earnings
The fruits of your labor
Every six years that comes
They charge us to start anew
Because the one who leaves takes
Millions he never earned
They care very little
About leaving the people in debt
