The first book of Corinthians 13
Brothers, there is a message
That if we had no more
Pages in the Bible
And we practiced Corinthians 13
We wouldn't need anything else

Many times we worry too much
About knowing the essence of God
We worry about wanting to decipher God
Isn't it true?
Theology wants to explain God

But, in truth
We don't need to understand any of that
In truth, we just need to practice
The true Gospel
Just follow the steps of Christ

Corinthians 13 says like this, oh
Even if I spoke the language of men and angels
If I didn't have love, I would be like a resounding gong
Or like a clanging cymbal

Even if I had the gift of prophecy
And knew all mysteries and all knowledge
And had faith to move mountains
But, if I didn't have love, I would be nothing

Even if I gave all I possess to the poor
And gave my body to be burned
But, if I didn't have love, it would profit me nothing

Love is patient, love is kind
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking
It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs

Love does not delight in evil
But rejoices with the truth
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres

This was the love that Christ had
For me and for you on the cross
He endured everything, he endured everything
If we just practice love
You don't need to understand God ever

You're looking for someone to fill a void

Because love is the opposite of that, love is surrender
