Country Blood
Look my friend, there was no other way
It was born with me inside my chest
And I treat my divine gift with care
I am fascinated by this instrument
If I think about the guitar and its strumming
I get emotional
Since I was a child
Listening to my grandpa and uncles playing
And our childhood I remember
How many singing sessions I grew up watching
Now, as a grown man, remembering
I grab the guitar and embrace it my way
As if waking up from a beautiful dream
To be a singer
I came predestined
The country blood runs through my veins
My singing is strong and my voice doesn't falter
And in my fingers they strum in a marked rhythm
To like another style
I tried but can't
It's not by whim but I carry with me
The defined taste for traditional fashion
And being part of my daily life
If I sing a traditional song, I convey joy
It's in singing that I feel happy
To the guitar fans, I thank by singing
If they were guitar players, we are arriving
Firmly strumming with a tuned voice
Beautiful melodies I sought in the past
Old guitar players are remembered by me
And I brought my verses
From my journey
To be a singer
I came predestined
The country blood runs through my veins
My singing is strong and my voice doesn't falter
And in my fingers they strum in a marked rhythm
