Filho de Davi
Lucas Roque e Gabriel
Son of David
There he was, leaving Jericho with his disciples around him
And a large crowd followed him wherever he went
Healings and miracles happened when he was there
And on this path a blind man begged
And upon knowing that Jesus was passing by
With his feeble voice he cried out like this
Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me, please!
Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me, my Lord!
Come help me, for I am tired
In this same place every day I beg
Come help me, Lord
Many asked him to be quiet
And with offensive words they asked him to stop
And he shouted even louder and with more faith for Jesus of Nazareth
Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me, please
Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me, my Lord
Come help me, for I am tired
In this same place every day I beg
Come help me, Lord
But something unexpected happened
Jesus heard the blind Bartimaeus
And asked them to call him
And upon hearing Jesus call, he rose from the ground
Taking his cloak, he worshipped
And he walked towards Jesus
Jesus asked him: What do you want me to do for you?
And with simplicity he spoke to Jesus
I want to see again
Your faith has saved you, that's how Jesus Christ spoke
Immediately the blind man could see
Everyone was puzzled
Where Jesus arrives, something different has to happen
Because his word has great power
And when he speaks, even hell has to obey
Keep calling out, because your victory will come
Even if someone doubts
There is a God in heaven who is watching over your life
Keep calling out, call on the name of Jesus as he is coming
